Jesse and Maya - As soon as their feet hit the ground in the morning, Jesse and Maya charge into the kitchen demanding "Muk Meez!!!!" translation - milk please. Then Jesse throws it down in protest to its cool temperature. Maya goes after his. He drops and flops in protest. They both pile into my lap, which is sweet and goes well until Elliot tries to find room between them. Eventually, they both toddle off happily sipping their own milks.
Elliot - "You mean it will be EVEN BETTER than Chocolate in Heaven?!?"
Caleb - "Mommy, what else can I do? I just really want to help you! What can I do?"
Elliot - After I showered, I went in to check on the sleeping children. I had dripping hair and mismatched pj's. Holding back my wet hair, I kiss Elliot on the cheek as I do every night. Some of my hair must've escaped my hands, and woken him up, because as I left, I heard his sweet little voice whisper, "Mommy, you look beautiful."
Maya - "Nose! Nose! Desse - Nose!" I look in the living room, she has him pinned down and is scrubbing his entire face with a Kleenx.
Jesse and Maya - the best place to sing is the bathroom. Doesn't matter who is going potty.
Jesse and Maya - I look over at them sitting at the little table in the kitchen. Jesse and Maya are holding hands, both of their heads bowed, and Jesse is babble praying.
