This is an actual picture of just Noel and I. Unbelievable, I know. And quite uncommon. This is from the marriage retreat at church. Mel blessed us tremendously and took the children for the weekend. And Noel and I had our first child free weekend since we were in Ethiopia and the Nannies were still caring for Jesse and Maya. Even though Noel was sick as a dog and had to stay in the room most of Saturday, it was still a fun time with friends, Noel could watch ESPN in bed, and it was so restful. Weekends away are quite precious. I'm so thankful that I have such an enjoyable husband, even when he's sick.
